Buyers filter a large catalogue by collection, construction type and knot density, see volume-tiered trade pricing rather than retail prices, and apply for a trade account before any rates are shown. The interesting constraint was image weight — hand-knotted rugs only sell on close-up weave detail, so the catalogue leans on responsive AVIF delivery to stay fast on a buyer’s phone in a showroom.
